Epsom – Loft Conversion with Juliet Balcony
Epsom – Loft Conversion with Juliet Balcony
This exciting project in Epsom demonstrates how our design and build company in London transforms underutilised spaces into functional, stylish, and light-filled living areas. The focus here was on a bespoke loft conversion, extending the roofline to create additional space while maintaining the character of the home.
The highlight of the new loft is the beautiful Juliet balcony, which opens the bedroom up to fresh air and natural light while offering elevated views of the surrounding area. To maximise brightness and create an airy feel, we also installed new Velux windows and roof lights, ensuring every corner of the loft benefits from natural illumination throughout the day.
A clever design detail was the installation of a sliding pocket door at the entrance to the loft bathroom. Hidden within the wall when open, this feature eliminates the need for a hinged door, further maximising usable floor space. Inside the bathroom, a full-height tiled shower enclosure creates a luxurious ‘wet room’ feel, adding a sense of boutique hotel quality to the home.
To tie the new spaces together, we added a bespoke staircase and hallway, while the roof itself was completely retiled with new slates to ensure durability and curb appeal. The entire project was completed in under 10 weeks, exceeding client expectations and delivering a stylish new space that feels both practical and luxurious.
This project showcases how our expertise in loft conversions and attic conversions allows us to unlock hidden potential in homes, creating additional bedrooms, bathrooms, or home offices that feel seamlessly integrated.
