Our client bought this property for its potential to completely transform the outdated look into a modernised, yet cosy family home. We decided to create an open plan style to give a much more spacious and airier feel.
A complete renovation from top to bottom, we took out the existing suspended floor and replaced it with solid flooring, with the addition of wet underfloor heating throughout. The entire back wall was removed, and a 6-meter house extension added to create a much larger space. We also added a new front porch and carried out a complete refurbishment of all new and existing areas. A snug was also added to create separation from the entertainment area.
