London – Loft Conversion with Rear Dormer

As with all of our London loft conversions and loft extensions, this project was about maximising unused space while maintaining balance between bedrooms and living areas. The result was a significant increase in usable space across the property, transforming it into a much larger, more functional home for our clients.

One of the defining features of this project was the traditional window chosen for the rear dormer. Unlike a modern Juliet balcony, this approach provides greater flexibility when arranging the interior layout, ensuring the new rooms are practical as well as stylish.

To further enhance the loft, we installed Velux roof windows that flood the space with natural light and create an airy, inviting atmosphere. A bespoke pine staircase was also added, bringing character and craftsmanship while linking the new upper level seamlessly with the rest of the home. The conversion introduced a spacious new master bedroom along with a contemporary en-suite, delivering both comfort and everyday luxury.
